O Chicks!

With bird flu taking over the state and headlines and all chickens being culled, we sure have to wait till we have our next tandoori chicken or tikka masala but the number of controversies that are going to unveil will be fun. We goona miss our Sunday Chicken Biryani though! With many politicians owning farms in Navapur belt lets see if the necks of the 'influential' chicks be bent or rules. A political leader is already involved ... but good news is that his farm wasn't spared though our CM assured that his farm was free from any virus. But, that is if words in newspaper or scenes shown on TV are to be believed! (though they did not show his farm). But when it comes to belief, I rather believe than fear that I might buy one of the infected 'influential' chicks three months down the lane! So, I believe that all the infected chickens are in heaven now (or will soon reach heaven) and happy that they were not slaughtered and chopped and marinated and spiced and consumed by some politician!

When we talk about chicks how can we miss out the chicks on the social circuit. Page 3 exists because of them and their skimpy outfits! Infact our papers are a little colorful because of them. See, its simple, parties cannot happen without chicks and where there are chicks there ought to be hunks and this calls for media to gather some gossip and spread rumours. So, you see its the 'chicks' that count and raise the party heatometer!

College life would be meaningless without chicks. They are the only motivation for college. Gosh! I cannot understand how do some guys study in a boy's only college.

So my point is be it food, college, politics, party, school, office or any sphere of our lives, chicks are important and exciting. And its difficult to do without them. So heres a poem:
Flu, Flu go away
Little people wanna eat
Flu, Flu go away
Do not ever come again

Rang De Basanti

Rang De Basanti is a movie worth watching! It is a movie that comes once after 100 missable movies. Its enjoyable, has a moral, great actors, mind-blowing music and good performances by everyone.
Many of my friends seemed to be cribbing about the idea of killing all the guys in the end. I mean, why do we love happy endings. It was a realistic ending. Today if someone kills the defence minister, do you think the cops of the nation will not be given a shoot at sight order.
Amir Khan was as usual, brilliant performance. The other guys were equally good and matched the script and theme of the movie. Even Alice Patten was superb. Madhavan was rocking and Soha was good for her first film. Karan Kapoor was my personal favourite. He is a rock star. I tell you this guy will have a great fan following after John Abhraham for his killer looks. He has great dimples and acts well too. Though, I am sure he himself would want to forget the tale of two cities. Hey, Kunal we want more of you. Siddharth was good too and even Atul Kulkarni & Sharman Joshi were impressive.
What complimented the script, direction and performance of the actors was music composed by Rahman. He rocks. Love to go to Rahman concerts. Unfortunately he does not perform live in India! Sponsors please...we need Rahman Live. Hope we have more Rahman's in our music industry.
